Tommy Sheppard is a Scottish National Party politician and the MP for Edinburgh East, the constituency covering amongst other places, the South Side. Born in Coleraine, Country Derry in 1959 Tommy studied medicine at the University of Aberdeen before becoming the Vice-President of NUS, kickstarting his political career. Tommy later founded Edinburgh and Glasgow comedy club The Stand. Conor spoke to Tommy Sheppard about his experiences.
